The Euro is the official currency of the European Union. It has been in circulation as electronic currency since 1999 and as physical banknotes and coins since 2002. Its ISO 4217 code is EUR, and it is typically represented by the symbol €. The issuance and management of the Euro are jointly handled by the European Central Bank and the central banks of the individual countries within the Eurozone. Currently, there are banknotes in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, and 500 Euros. Additionally, there are coins in values of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 Euro cents, and 1, 2 Euros. The Euro ranks second globally in terms of trading volume, and all money changers in Hong Kong support the exchange between the Hong Kong Dollar and Euro.

人民幣是中國的通用貨幣，自1948年開始發行。ISO4217標準代號為CNY，通常用符號¥或者CN¥來表示。由中國的中國人民銀行（People's Bank of China）負責發行和管理。目前流通的人民幣紙鈔面額有1、5、10、20、50、100元，另有1元、5角、1角的硬幣。人民幣的交易量位居全球第八位。隨著近年人民幣匯率下跌，兌換人民幣北上消費的香港市民明顯增加。目前本港所有找換店均可買賣人民幣，部分找換店更提供人民幣匯款、電子錢包增值等服務。
